Complimentary Webinar:
Micro-ATR Techniques for Infrared Microscopy
Infrared microscopy combines visible microscopy with the detailed chemical information revealed through the infrared absorption spectra of the components in your sample. For industrial applications, samples may be difficult to prepare in thin sections for transmission analysis. The wavelength of infrared light normally restricts achievable spatial resolution to around 10 microns. We can use ATR sampling for easier sample preparation, and to improve spatial resolution. This webinar will describe the techniques of micro ATR and present applications for Industrial problem solving and biological research.
