Advanced Technology for Deep Proteome Sequencing and Quantitation

Shannon Eliuk, Ph.D, Product Specialist, Proteomics, Thermo Fisher Scientific

Learn about the new possibilities opened by the recent extensions of two major families of instruments, LTQ Orbitrap and Exactive. Special attention is given to the Exactive instrument series, particularly in relation to analysis of proteins and complex mixtures. It is demonstrated that screening and quantification is possible in one chromatographic run with reliable results in determination and quantification.

Pushing the Limits: New Technology for Robust Quantitation with Lowest LODs

August Specht, Ph.D, Director of Hardware Product Management, Life Sciences Mass Spectrometry, Thermo Fisher Scientific

Learn about technology and workflows that improve throughput. Scientists interested in the automated quantitation of large molecules or screening small molecules should attend. The first presentation provides data and technology that automate the isolation, digestion and quantitative analysis of proteins by LC/MS system. The second presentation presents screening assays to analyze over 600 compounds.
