Going Green for Earth Day:
New Solvent-free Infrared Method for Oil & Grease in Water

PlaceholderThe current EPA-approved method for measuring oil and grease contamination in water uses solvent extraction. This presents safety, health and environmental concerns.
A new solvent-free method for the analysis of hydrocarbons in processed and wastewater has been developed and validated. This webinar shows how standard method ASTM D7575 based on ClearShot™ Extraction Technology can be used to analyze oil and grease in water with detection down to the low PPM range.

What you will learn:

  • Oil & grease pollution regulatory overview
  • Review of past and current methodology
  • ASTM D7575 Standard Method operation, data analysis, and validation
  • Real-world applications

Who should attend:

  • Environmental lab managers
  • Water analysis lab managers
  • Offshore produced water / petrochemical lab managers
  • Wastewater and industrial pretreatment lab managers
  • Fats, Oils and Grease (FOG) in water testers
  • Quality Assurance managers of industrial fluids
  • Anyone involved in environmental pollutant monitoring
